Duplin 4-H competes in NC State 4-H Livestock Contest in Raleigh

Congratulations to Matthew Mobley, Oliveah Jackson, Sadie Jackson, Emily Craft, Fisher King, & Massey Cassell for a great State Livestock Judging, Skillathon, & Quiz Bowl Competition in Raleigh the last few days!

The NC State 4-H Livestock Contests was held at the NC State Beef Unit on North Carolina State Universities campus at Riddick Hall on July 25-27th. An awards dinner followed the competition and was held at Talley Student Union on the last day.

Awards were as follows:

1st Place Intermediate Quiz Bowl Team combined with Pitt and Rockingham counties (four-person team, from three different counties)

Massey Cassell with 5th Overall Jr Skillathon and 7th Over-all Judging

Oliveah Jackson - 6th Overall Skillathon

Matthew Mobley with 8th Overall Skillathon
