The North Carolina High School Athletic Association held the Track and Field State Championship Games at North Carolina A&T University on Saturday, May 21, 2022, and two Duplin County students came home champions! 

Andrew Pender, James Kenan High School, won first place in the Triple Jump and Avery Gaby, East Duplin High School, won first place in the 110 Meter Hurdles.
