Duplin County Sheriff’s Office: Fatal shooting in Warsaw

In the early morning hours of Saturday August 6, 2022, the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Warsaw Police Department responded to Boy Scout Lane in the Warsaw area of Duplin County in reference to a shooting death of 23 year old, Raekwon Wilson, of Warsaw, NC.

Investigators on scene were able to gather information about a possible person of interest. Investigators are asking for assistance from anyone who has information about this incident.

The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the whereabouts of Carl Faison, a black male (see photo attached to post), possibly from the Turkey area of Sampson County, and possibly operating a white Chevrolet Tahoe or similar vehicle.
