May 20 Jerry W. Hunter Memorial Scholarships presented at East Duplin Athletic Awards Night

At East Duplin Athletic Awards Night, it was our honor and privilege to present Jerry W. Hunter Memorial Scholarships to six incredibly deserving individuals. This year the Foundation will be distributing a total of $42,000 in scholarships, and each recipient will receive a one-time $7,000 scholarship. Those incredibly deserving individuals are:

• Elizabeth Sumner Blizzard

• Laura Brooke Bostic

• Allie Noel Lanier

• Emma Gray Lanier

• Riley Catherine Tate

• Emma Lee Whaley

Please join us in congratulating each of these young people and their families on their accomplishments on the field and in the classroom over the past four years.

Thanks again to our players and sponsors for their many years of support. Without you, we would not have been able to award a total of $178,000 in scholarships over the past six years.
