JSCC's Meagan Turner announced as recipient of 2022 District 2 Rising Star of the Year award

The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) presents an annual Rising Star Award in each of its seven districts to an innovative and progressive professional who has demonstrated special creativity and ability in marketing and PR and shows evidence of a promising future in the field.

We are so excited to inform you that our very own Meagan Turner was been selected by the judges as the recipient of the 2022 District 2 Rising Star of the Year award. Our district encompasses the community, technical and junior colleges in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

Meagan’s award will be presented at the Awards Luncheon to be held during the NCMPR District 2 conference in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Awards Luncheon is scheduled to be held on October 25, 2022.

As the District 2 2022 Rising Star, Meagan will automatically become one of seven finalists for the national Rising Star of the Year Award, which will be presented in March 2023 as part of NCMPR's national conference in Orlando, Florida.

We are so proud of Meagan, and we want to give a big shout out to Emily Smith for submitting the award-winning nomination!
