Arrest made in connection with Warsaw murder

**FAISON CHARGED WITH MURDER**
In the early morning hours of Saturday August 6, 2022, the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Warsaw Police Department responded to Boy Scout Lane in the Warsaw area of Duplin County in reference to a shooting death of 23 year old, Raekwon Wilson, of Warsaw, NC.
On Monday, August 15, 2022, the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office arrested Carl McDaniel Faison of Turkey, North Carolina for the murder of Raekwon Wilson. Faison was charged with an open count of murder and possession of a firearm by a felon. Faison is incarcerated in the Duplin County Detention Center under no bond.
